1999 "Lolo
Trail System - Research Methods and Results," A Clearwater
National Forest Leadership Team Field Trip, August 9-11, 1999. The workshop
began with a presentation at Mex Mountain and continued with a field
trip along the Lolo Trail to Powell Ranger Station. Dr. Steve F. Russell
was the coordinator, guide and scholar for the workshop.
1999 "Lewis
& Clark Exploration: History, Geology, and Ecology," A
2-credit Teachers' Workshop sponsored by the Sawtooth Science Institute,
An Outreach Center of Idaho State University's College of Education and
the Idaho Museum of Natural History, August 3-6, 1999. The workshop began
at Lolo Hot Springs and was conducted in the field from Howard Creek in
Montana to Lewiston, Idaho. Dr. Steve F. Russell was the coordinator, guide
and scholar for the workshop.
1999 "Proceeding
on the path of Lewis and Clark Through Idaho," A Summer
Teachers' Institute sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities
and the Idaho State Historical Society, July 20-26, 1999. The workshop
began in Salmon, Idaho with scholar presentations by Dr. James Ronda and
Dr. Steve Russell. The field days and camping trip started at Lemhi Pass
on the Montana-Idaho border and ended at Canoe Camp, near Ahasahka, Idaho.
Dr. Russell was the coordinator, guide and scholar for the field trip
and camping portion of the workshop.
